Mikey: Ya know that I'm usin the same worn out old Fox .60 in ma Shoestring that ah wuz last year, and Chuckee iz usin a leaky Magnum .40 in hiz 51. I knows that you and Hopper are usin OS FX .90's on 40% nitro. So to make this fair, we will challenge both of you to a spot landing contest.

The Gauntlet has been thrown !

O.K., here's the deal. Since New Mexico has challenged Arizona; Arizona gets to choose the weapons, and set the rules. Mustangs and Shoestrings at 20 paces.

Spot Landing - You draw a 15 - 20 ft. circle on your runway, ( you iz gonna need all the help that you can get ), 3 attempts each pilot at hitting it. Pilots will be Chuck & Jim for Arizona, and Mike & Don for New Mexico. ( No last minute substitutes for Don )
3 attempts each, no go arounds, you call your attempt no later than base leg. If your plane touches any part of the circle, you get 1 point. The winning team will be the one with the highest combined score. 6 points Max.

Any effort to modify these rules will be considered whining and cowardliness on New Mexico's part.

Let the games begin ! And may God have mercy on your souls.

I really don't expect it to happen. Just some friendly rival chit-chat goin on here between Albuquerque and Tucson. A bunch of us, and our wives, go up to Albuquerque the last weekend of every June to the New Mexico Scale Association's fly-in. While Mike, who initiated the challenge, myself and others, will carry out some flying shinannygins, I really don't expect them to close down the field for us to hold a private contest.

Hey Art, maybe I'll win another computer radio up there this year ?

Hey Art, maybe I'll win another computer radio up there this year ? [/B][/QUOTE]

I won a 4 channel Futaba a couple years back and traded it for this "thing" below right at the field. I already had enough buddy boxes and this lady had 2 Long Hair Chihuahua pups. So the deal was done. :stupid:

Delta Force One from Arizona, better known as TEAM TABASCO, will be leaving Tucson at 0 dark thirty, on 06/27/03. The attack force will consist of 4 armored vehicles, loaded with 10 high performance miniature aircraft, and 5 of the most skillful, and highly decorated pilots west of the Pecos.

The N.M. Weenies days are numbered. Make sure that you have an adequate number of trash bags on hand, and may God have mercy on your souls.
