new to forum, saying hello
Hello everyone, new here and new to nitro rc cars. Im from north jersey. i just picked up 2 nitro hpi savage trucks with aftermarket motors and a few add ons. ill get some pics up soon. and i also picked up a duratraxx rustler (not sure if thats the name of it, but it looks much like my old traxxas electric rustler i traded for these 3 cars). it also came with a shoe box full of spare and extra parts and motors.
one savage has a .26 motor in it and is ready to run and set up more the street. the other needs a fuel tank and starter and the motor installed back on it....i have the same .26 motor for it but this is setup with mudder tires. and the duratraxx needs the motor installed back on it as well.
these are my first ever nitro cars so it should be fun and interesting to learn all about these and how they go together. shouldnt be a problem though considering im very handy with regular cars. i built my 98 mustang gt with a whole butt load of mods and it is right on the verge of breaking into the 10 second 1/4 mile time once i get my tune straightened out.
anyone have any suggestions or anything for some FAQs and beginners information?
i cant wait to get out of work today and go pick up some fuel and a fresh glow plug for the one savage so i can take her out on the field near my house and see how she goes
