I....am...posting...through.. a...snowdrift. But it's not really affecting my internet right now, LOL. I'm not stuck under a bumper, yet, but I DO have to get my 7th grader to school in the morning. If things get cold enough, holy crap. Collapses everywhere. Pics in the AM.
Electricity is blinking...this might be my final post...

All schools closed. All government closed. Roads for emergency travel only. 2-3 feet in my yard, broken tree branches everywhere. I'm on Search and Rescue here in Pondera county, which covers an area clear up to the continental divide. I sure hope the majority of the people have the smarts to stay home today!

Wow, Deadeye, that sucks. You guys keep yourselves safe. We have an idea of what you're going through. We had a major ice storm here on Jan. 26 this year. It dumped 3-4 inches of ice everywhere. Our place is 38 wooded acres and I don't believe any tree survived without damage. Those that didn't come down had the tops broken out. We were without electricity for two weeks, cooked on a gas grill, and lights were candles, flashlights, and camp lanterns. We had no water. I am an NFL fan and a Cardinals fan having grown up in St. Louis while the football Cardinals were there. We could not even watch the Super Bowl at home.

I can understand why some people don't like winter.
Personally I like winter flying, no bugs, fewer people,
and no grass to mow. Just put on the ski's ,adjust the
motor for the cold ,and away you go.
Regards
Roby
