RE: Sepulveda Basin
Check out a "sneak peak" of the first episode of season 3 on Auction Hunters. I think it airs on the 19th.
http://www.spike.com/shows
Click Auction hunters then sneak peak.
Shot at the basin a couple months ago.
I think there might be some Habu destruction on Tuesday's version. That was fun
Thanks,
Billy

Woo Hoo! I leave Aug. 6th to go to Texas and work on an F4U Corsair restoration! Just think, a week in 105 deg, 60% humidity in a hanger. Doesn't get any better than that!

regarding your Airtronics, are you going to get spelling lessons with the money you make from the sell?

RE: Sepulveda Basin
Something seems fishy to me
First of all what exactly was he trying to film in the first place, the side of the building?
Then as soon as he sets it down the bird is there ready to pick it up. When was the last time a seagull let you get within 20' before it bolts off
Then, let say all that REALLY happened, how in the heck did he find the camera after the bird took off over the trees, across the road and up on some wall.
I' m gonna say the bird was trained.

RE: Sepulveda Basin
I lost a plane out in the sticks this morning. In a North East direction from the runway, in line sort of with a single tall and bushy tree, more than half way to Woodley it seemed like. I was unable to see it from the runway or even Woodley when I drove out there.
It is a Fun World 400 EP.
Being partially disabled I have enormous difficulty walking out in the rutted out bush so I had to leave it.
If anyone happens to be able to go out in the brush and look for planes and finds it, my grand daughter and I would be very thankful.

Thanks Billy!
There are some tire tracks going into the brush from the airfield access road. I ventured onto it with my Dodge Ram, but it is only 1WD. I got maybe 100 yards, and it was getting really rough and soft. I had to turn around, I knew I was about to get stuck. A lifted 4WD would be awesome in a situation like this.
