Where to fly in Las Vegas
I just moved to Las Vegas from Virginia Beach, and was wondering where to fly around here. I have heard there are several fields around. Can anyone tell me where I should go?
Thanks,
Matt

Where to fly in Las Vegas
hi matt.. welcome to the DRY heat..lol..there are three fields that are around vegas... one is in north las vegas at the north end of decatur blvd( everyone fly's here for the fun of the hobby, just two or three guys that think they own the sky), one is out by the silver bowl, thats on russell rd east of us-95 (mostly the TOC guys fly here). and if you like to fly overlooking the lake there is a makeshift field out there also. i'm going to try to fly at 6;00 pm tonight out at the n.las vegas field...have to go to a party so give me a pm or e-mail for more info ...spooner

Hello Matt,
The field adjacent to the UNLV Silver Bowl Stadium is a Clark County Park's model flying site and is open to any AMA member. You will find a variety of airplanes and helicopters there.
