Hi, I have the kit and all accesories ordered and recieved but have yet to start the build. What I can say is that the quality of kit and supplied material is AAA. No way a regular kit manufacturer can reach the level of pure dedication Martin puts in.

Hi, all of my research on this kit is positive as far as the build. I have not heard how this plane flies. I'd like to build it with floats, currently I am flying a Great Planes Piper Cub 60 Kit on floats. How do you plan to cover the beaver, with glass or film? Gorde

Dick Pettit of RC Report paired this plane up with a Saito gas engine. The report was published in the January 2009 edition of RC Report.

Anyone that could summarize? Or even better PM me a copy of the article?

In either case, its a high wing low loading STOL aircraft, could it be other than a sweet flyer? Having seen the movie clips of the guy flying a Mr Aerodesign PC-6 Pilatus Porter (which I believe is an older design than the Beaver), when the pilot gets it right it flies very scale. The Beaver should to. I have teh short kit for the PC-6 and the full kit with floats for the Beaver sitting on the back burner.

I would suggest dropping Dick Pettit a PM. His user name on RCU is "Pettit".
