Wow, to all those who went to Shelby Ohio, that was awesome!
Hats off to the Mansfield Area RC Fliers for putting that awesome show on every year.
I can't wait to but the ACES video!
It's too much fun to fly there, if you've never gone, you're missing a world class event!

Thanks for the kind words, it makes all of our hard work worth it. We had 93 registered pilots for the weekend and record setting crowd. It made our twentieth anniversary very special. A special thanks to Merlyn Graves for bringing his Vulcan bomber. A big thank you to all of the pilots that showed up, we couldn't put on such a fantastic event without your help!! If you didn't go, better plan for next year, it is always Father's Day weekend.

It almost makes me sad I moved from Cleveland to Los Angeles 20 years ago. Oh wait a second, it's 75 and sunny with 5 mph winds, same as it has been for a month!

Hey Guys (and Gals) Great Fly In
Thanks to all at Shelby for such an enjoyable show and a great bunch of planes and pilots.
I have about 50 some pics of Saturday on my RC Home Page, see link below. These are just the 15 to 16Kb size photos. If anyone sees anything they would like a 516 kb photo of please let me know and I'll e-mail. The only bad thing was my digital cam did not like the grey background and so I could not get any of the planes in the air this time to focus, so they are almost all static shots

Shelby Ohio!
I was there on Sunday and got to fly in the warbird rally. What a blast! (literally and figuratively). I've always wanted to participate in one of those. The pyrotechnics was really neat and it was really cool to have 10 giant warbirds flying around at one time, diving and strafing the fake tanks and stuff. Thanks a lot Mansfield R/C Cub!
