Default FAA coming to your neighborhood clubhouse soon.

The ARC has recently made official recommendations to the FAA that will no doubt affect most all of us modelers in the very near future. There likely will be altitude, equipment types, speed limits, size limits, weight limits and propulsion type restrictions that will no doubt affect most of all us.

What actions, if any, do you think we should take?

What are they going to do if you're not flying at an AMA event or field? Are they going to call the police to come take your plane away for flying too high?

Maybe...I had the police called on me once for flying a 10 oz. foamy by some idiot...the police wasn't very happy about the idiot's request to investigate but they did respond...so, it surely wouldn't be out of the question that it could happen. BTW I still fly the same plane at the same place

Enforcement will be the hard part of the deal and will proberly only happen in the event of a serious incedent, if the proposed rules do become law however
I think we may start to see some counterfeit AMA cards poping up. As far action for now we have just wait and see how it all plays out.
