2009 the 6th Shanghai RC Model Show
Hobby Lobby Show Photos and narrative
China is the host this week for all the major players in the hobby industry attending the 2009 Shanghai International Model Exhibition. On the show floor, Mark Cleveland, the new owner of Hobby Lobby International, and the company’s new Chief Operating Officer, veteran product developer David Carley, both have a full dance card at the event – their agenda is filled with brainstorming sessions and discussions with key suppliers and partners who are committed to bringing only the best products to America. There is a high level of excitement about the industry at the sixth annual show in Shanghai, a city with over twenty million people in a country with no shortage of enthusiasm for model cars, helicopters and airplanes of all types and sizes.
