Does anyone know of any model aircraft flying sites in Abu Dhabi?

I will be moving from Dubai to AD very soon, and as I fly every weekend in Dubai, would want to carry on flying and building new models.

Thanks

Darryl

Look at post # 39 in this thread. There is a map to it. Where do you live in AD? Might be able to give you directions, also, in one of the posts on this thread, there are GPS coordinates to the field. I fly there most week ends, not the greatest, but it is an intersection, so we have two directions to take off and land.

I get everything from Mail Order, usually from Tower Hobbies. I only fly electric, so fuel is not an issue. Aramex does a fair job of delivering stuff from the USA and England.

it takes maximum 1 week if its EMS and maximum 3 weeks if its a parcel and a month if it international registered.

T-28 is a nice plane but not for newbies for sure.

Yes i did Dave , as i don't have a car and rely on taxi i just wanted to find out that it is still a valid location and if people can tell me what days and time they go there.
Dubai is an option for a day visit as i also have some friends flying for Emirates and also flying at a field there i believe.
