Supported file types
Can someone tell me what file types are supported for image uploads on this site? Or maybe let me know if its possible to convert .tiff images so this site will accept them? Thanks in advanceI am fairly new at computers so answers in archaic English would be appreciated-me being from the pinball era and all...[sm=drowning.gif]

jpg files are usually the best.
To convert a file, click "start", then click on "all programs", then go up to "accessories" and click on "paint".
Once that program is up and running click on "file", then "open". find the image file you want to convert. Once it's open in "paint" just click on "file" then "save as". From there under the file name window there's another window that says "save as file type". Simply change that to "jpg" and save your file where you know where to find it later (like the desktop for starters).
That's it. Good luck.

Thank you for the concise and effective advice-it actually worked for me and that is rare with computers and myself. Steeper learning curve than I expected,but I am getting there!
