Its a receiver? You can see the case screws.
In the middle the spiral is one of the tuning coils.
The "tower" on the right is the crystal.

Nope, sorry guys it's a cline regulator. The spring in the middle is the diaphragm spring, the inlet is at the top and the outlet valve is the "tower" on the right. The screws hold the alumimun cover on, which is the opaque part on the bottom of the object. The screws on a cline go all the way through the unit to the bottom where the bottom of the screws can be seen, but are flush with the bottom. Just like in the picture. It is a cline regulator x-rayed end-on. Come on Rajul, give it up!
