Who can you trust
Just wondering , What do you do! and what do you check on to see if you can trust some ONE on RCU. Not knowing each other
Well I built an AT6 for a man, He sent me the kit and all I had to do is tell him what I needed. You bet he sent every thing with no question. He got his Plane And I got My MONEY no problems.
What has happened to trust and the word of a man.
What are your expeirences (spelling)

ive done a couple of trades on RCu, so far so good, including one across the border(Canada), its a calculated risk, i look at ratings and feedback....But i also have to understand you have to start somewhere and not everyone has feedback .... I also go through paypal, i feel a little more secure.

I have had well over a hundred transactions, mostly on e-Bay with other modelers. Never had a problem getting what I paid for or getting paid for what I had sold. E-Bay ratings are a pretty good guide.

It's a great hobby when you meet some on the net and can have them do something for you or buy and sell with out ever meeting them. I was just wondering how some people checked the other out. I have been stung a few times and have had great connections made, building and buying.

Hey Larry how's it going.
I sent Larry my AT-6 Kit, and it came home a nice looking plane. I trusted him to do what he said, and he trusted me to do the same, and all worked out great.
Thanks again Larry

I've done quite a bit of buying and selling on ebay, which is based on trusting someone you don't know. It works amazingly well and perhaps illustrates the point that almost all people are honest. As buying and selling on line becomes more and more the norm, it may well serve to increase the honesty score of humanity. I expect honesty and almost always recieve it. I wonder if people who expect dishonesty are just reflecting their own values. People do have bad experiences and quite reasonably form their opinions based on those experiences.

Just got back from the flying field, not a good day[:@] Put in my 1/5 J3 and a Chipmunk. A little wind and a lot of dumb thumbs.
Working on the Eagle and a 182 cessna for our fun fly drowing in Sept. Other than that still finding things to keep me busy
