Default Tower Hobbies/Hobbico customer service s _ _ _ _

Got a boat through a vendor. Defective before it hit the water. Ordered parts for it. Tower sent me the wrong parts. Shipped everything back. Got the correct parts after 2 weeks. Got the boat back from Hobbico after 2 1/2 weeks. Hobbico sent wrong boat back. Here we go again. Sending boat back. Maybe I can run it next year if i'm lucky. Tower said parts error their fault, but washed its hands of the boat. Now dealing with Hobbico. Would you be fed up? Next time I go with Hobby People.

I go out of my way to avoid ordering from Tower... They are the worst. Assume much cursing and swearing.

well i think your issue was a bad luck. I have been ordering from tower and they are the best.... the same hobbico services, the 2 days shipping is always exact, i bouth 2 10CG radios in the last 3 weeks and super fast shipping and service. Sent my .81 Alpha engine en hobbic replaced it under warranty for free...they also sent me a brand new mufler!!!(i didnt sent mine). About tower...got some defective fuel pump, called them, and they sent me a new one free, no extra cost and i didnt sent mine to them for inspection.

As i said....thats my experience, after almost $5k investen in them since December...everything is fine, love the discount cupons.. Hope your experince and issue get resolved in the good way.

They sent me a prepaid UPS label to ship it back. I just might keep the boat and send them a bag of manure to show them how much i think they stink.

If you want good service then you want to go with Horizon Hobbies, there customer service has always been exceptional for me. I once sent them a saito .91 airplane engine that I was having problems with, it was brand new, I sent it via fedex, during shipping fedex lost the engine but the box arrived. I could not verify that it had enough insurance Horizon simply sent me a new one and dealt with to recover the cost of the engine.

i saw also bad experience with Horizon................so as you can see is the same think..you have good experiences with Horizon, i have it with Tower.... each issue is different.

jsesere, just do the right thing...take your time and everything will be rigth. Good luck.

Well my dle 20 is being service for the last 4 months and i have no answer from them, i dont know what to do.. any suggestions????????
