Default Got to fly a 42% on Sat.

We had our 20th annual fly in this Saturday in Elk City. One of our regulars from OKC ask me if I wanted to fly his 42% Aeroworks Extra 260. How could you turn that down? DA 150 powered, all Futaba gear and 14MZ controlled. I kept it simple and high but it was stilll a major thrill. My wife was less than thrilled, but she will get over it. A big thanks to Jim F.

Dave: I remember when you guy's first started the annual fly in, hard to believe it is 20 years, used to be at the airport, and you guy's flew from behind the church on the edge of town. by the way your new field looks great. is your fly-in still as big an event as it used to be? just remember to tell the wife that bigger is better. Rick

The time does fly by Rick. Yes we still have a big event. Spectators had to be 600-700 strong this year. All the wife can see is money flying by. I have been looking at 50CC stuff but 150CC stuff is way in the future. Weatherford is having a fun fly this year also. Oct 17th I think. I am not sure what kind of event they will have , but it should be fun.

Good to hear from you, David
