25%cub arf from greatplanes
Hello,
Just wanted to give a shout out, I am new or should I say just getting back into the hobby been gone since early 80's. This might be old news,Just tried to get some info on a 25%arf cub from greatplanes and was told it is discontinued. Also no luck on a Dave Patrick. Any suggestions on my hunt for a cub.
Thanks,
Donnie

Welcome back, hambama!
You may want to check this:
http://ecsvr.com/abm/shopexd.asp?id=2
I have bought another ARF model from them (not a Cub); good quality and service.
Regards!
P.S.- I believe we are in the wrong forum. May be Questions and Answers will generate better responses for you.

Yes, World Models is the manufacturer in China.
I bought one Extra Sports 30, and I like it, and also the speed and quality of shipment.
You may want to check Hangar 9 as well for comparing scale qualities and prices.
I have also found this thread in the ARF or RTF forum:

Best luck!

Hanger 9 "Horizon Hobby" has the best 1/4 scale Cub by far. There model blows away most of the kit built 1/4 scale Cubs for scale apearance. This Cub is also covered with real Ultracote covering "The Modeling Standard today".

RE: 25%cub arf from greatplanes
tailskid,
Thanks for the offer, Hey got a Question on the 25% cub. I emailed o.s last nite to get a suggestion on a 4stroke and they emailed me this am and said unfortunately they do not make suggestions to people if they had not testeda engine on certain planes. Sooooooooo I amstill trying to understand that reply, I only wanted some input I gave wingspan 104-106 and weight 15-16lbs. O.S is what I am familiar with. This was they're tech support, anyways Hanger9 gives a suggestion but I am not familiar with ys,saito,etc... I have been away since the mid 80's. I do know gas is not what I want because I would have 1 plane that used gas and every thing else would be nitro. O.S has been so reliable but now ?
What is your suggestion on engine or anybody.........
Thanks
