Default I crash.. Like ALL THE TIME. What plane is good for me?

So far my Zaggie has been the best. When i go flying, or break out an rc car I'm not in it for the hobby. I'm in it for the Fun. I usually let my two german shep dogs chase the cars around and I dodge them from above with the planes. Every now and then they jump up and grab a plane out of the sky. It's a lot of fun.

I have a feeling that I just need to buy another zaggie. But they cost quite a bit. Are there any other alternatives? I have a couple of GWS planes, but when I sail them hurling into the planet they tend to explode on impact. What else is there that can handle serious abuse besides a zaggie?

Two of the toughest planes that come to mind are the Hobbyzone Firebirds and the Super Cub. The Firebirds are a little faster and harder to control, but I've nosed mine full throttle into the ground, trees, buildings, and it is still flying with very minor repairs. The Super Cub is also tough, they will break but are very cheap and easy to repair.

We're definately on the same page. I've owned three of the firebirds. The problem is that they are tough to control. Even guys with lots of experience have trouble flying them.

Looks like i'm up for another zagi. Anyone have one for sale?

Buy a trainer if you can, and have some one with experience, to help teach you..... If not build a "flying gutter" the fuse is made out of 3" square gutter pipe, and the wings out of chloroplast... they are known as S.P.A.D's I dont have one but ive seen them... you can buil;f one for about 30 bucks or less...

I like the idea of a cheap build. Having trouble locating one online. Got plans?

These are delta wing dense foam. Pretty tough and durable. You can fold the wings nearly in half, straighten it out and go fly again. Great for traveling with. Just toss it in the back of the car and fly when you stop at a rest area. They handle ground, tree, house, people bumps pretty well. You CAN break them, but their easy to repair using Goop glue. I've flown mine in 20mph winds.

Just saw they are changing ownership but will be available again soon.

Not out of business, just transitioning.
