Controls and Aplications Engineer. I'm the guy that gets called at 3AM in the morning with "The paint line is down and we can't get it running."

Lately my job title was changed to Manufacturing Engineer! So now I'm trying to figure out Robotic MIG welding!

Having worked in the truck industry in the UK for 3,364 years, I am re-inventing myself in California (seems like a good place to do that) doing a Masters degree in I.T. at university in L.A.

Been aeromodelling since about 1965 - mainly control line combat as I couldn't afford radio. Just got back to this strange hobby in Southern California where it occasionally doesn't rain (unlike the UK).

Uh-Oh! Are you employed by the dreaded AHJ?

I work on low-voltage building systems...Intrusion detection and fire systems, access control, closed circuit television, intercom systems, that kind of stuff. I get to visit places ranging from military facilities to your neighbor's house. Not the best pay, but it ain't bad and it's a fun job
