Default Royal Plans & Kits

I'm sure all you purist scale modelers out there remember how great those Royal kits were. (Lotsa work, but kits were dead to scale accurate, right?) If anybody out there is looking for Royal kits or plans, you can go to ama-rc (the Auctiva store) and select what you want. It's run by a guy named Phil Ngo, one of the nicest guys you'll ever deal with. I just bought a set of the P-26 Peashooter plans, they come rolled & only cost about $20.00. Regards to all, Joey (Tercels)

WrrooonnnnGG!!! Not really! [sm=47_47.gif] Built several.

IIRC the Marutka (sp?) (Royal) kits are still available from Hobby Barn in Tucson AZ.

Oh really? I can't find them on Hobby Barn website. Can you help me out with a link right to the kits?

Thanks for the update. I certainly have not kept up there, as I have not built one in over 15 years. OH darn, if I could only fly as well and fast as TIME!! [:@]

Most of the royal kits were as scale as you sanded them. now if we could just get the canopys to go with the plans! and spun aluminum cowels!

I would be interested in the link as well, did a quick search using variations of your terms (ama-rc (the Auctiva store)) and did not turn up.

 Thanks, Dan
