Solar charging Batt pack?
Just need a trickle charge to maintain voltage in a remote battery pack. Are there any solar kits or plansavailableto provide a trickle charge for RC battery types that youknowof?

RE: Solar charging Batt pack?
Most of the solar chargers don't have any voltage reguation. My solar charger came from costco, If I leave it on a battery for too long it will ruin it because the voltage output is too high on a fully charged battery.
I ruined a motorcycle battery with it. It did charge the battery, but once charged, the voltage rises above 15 Volts which causes it to loose water rapidly, the solution was to remove the solar charger after the battery is charged.

the item in the link provided in the second post will not charge a battery....
not really at least....
at a rating of .45W it really wouldn't even keep up with normal drain of a battery
(been researching for my RV)
for just maintaining an already charged battery... there are sets in the 15w range... if you want to actually charge... you will have to go quite a bit higher than that.

If you read the manual, it says this
position one 1 200ma @ 3volts
position two 2 100ma @ 6volts
position three 3 50ma @ 9volts
position four 4 50ma @ 12volts
Most OEM wall chargers put out 50ma, that should charge and keep peaked just fine
p.s.
I have one of those 15 watt chargers on my camper,, a good investment
