RE: RCReport online
I just read one of the TWO reviews in the October issue. Lots of pictures and plenty of details.
However Horizon Hobby, who is the distributor for this ARF, is gonna be a little upset when they read that the manufacturer of this YAK is "SEGULL", not "SEAGULL".
Good old spell checker can be your friend, or your enemy.
Proof reading by a second set of eyes is also a good thing.

RE: RCReport online
Dick,
I just bought a Sukhoi SU-31 at a swap meet this past weekend in Decatur, AL from Jim Ray (Decatur Model Airplane Club). He said you had built the plane (as an ARF) and written a review on it for R/C Report some time ago. I would dearly love to find a copy of your review. I have scanned the web for a few days now and haven't found a source for R/C Report articles (I know they no longer publish). Can you (or someone on this thread) give me some ideas?

RE: RCReport online
Shouldn't an RC airplane magazine have RC airplanes on the cover instead of turkeys and exploding buildings?
Shouldn't an RC airplane magazine be a refuge from, and not a reminder of terrorist and in laws?

RE: RCReport online
As for me, I have every issue with only a few early news print ones missing. Before moving to N.Carolina last year, I had almost all the RCM & Model Aviation issues also, but decided to give/throw away all but the RCReport due to the move & paying by weight. As I read your post Dick, it has become perfectly clear to me now why I saved all of these mags. I use them to show my wife what shirts NOT to buy for me. Thank you for all the years of examples Dick! Oh, & the articles as well !!!!!!!!! Bill

Just a short note to ask the following questions:
1- What ever happened to the videos that people sent to RCR Online? Isn't that a major reason for going online so the readers can see videos?
2- Three months have passed and still no reader comments like used to be posted below the front page. What happened to them?
Happy New Year to y'all!

Dick,
I have no idea if I have any blame at all in that, but I tried to make it a point to go to the site at least once a month and post a comment asking what happened to the GOOD columnists and other pointed remarks...Julia never responded when I posted the comments, but I got some less than professional replies when I emailed her directly. At least IMHO...Sure miss the good ole days when you and the "Two old Scale Guys", and others, etc etc posted up the good columns...now we get to read (if its even worth the trouble any more) a column posted by a DOG, an electric column that some of the time discusses equipment that is no longer even available other than used or other individual sales, etc. the only column truly worth reading (for my own interest...your mileage MAY vary slightly) is the "Oily Hand".
Why don't you call Gordon and you guys get a BLOG going online and see if it doesn't get better readership than what's left of the RCReport...I'm just saying!

RE: RCReport online
I just read the Febr issue.
I wonder if they are paying Brian Winch of if he just writes for the fun of it.
There are a couple of dogs(literally!) writing articles. I wonder if they are getting bones or dog briskets.

RE: RCReport online
This is an old thread, but I just took a look at the September 2011 issue. Looks like Brian Winch is the only author left. Have all the other authors left as well?
