Dick Bennett Passed in September 2011
 

Fellow RCer's,
I know this is belated but I just found out today that Dick Bennett, owner of "B&B Specialties" died suddenly on September 23rd, 2011. It is listed on the B&B website that Dick suffered an aneurysm and subsequent motorcycle accident. We continue to lose some extremely fine people, either to unrecoverable illness or passing as in Dick's case. He was one of a few innovators in this hobby and a very, very nice gentleman. Dick always had time to answer questions and give good solid advice and more than once he customized a muffler for me. I am saddened by the loss of this fine person and my late condolences go out to his family. There is a void in humanity with him gone.

Eerie, that's the exact same day my father died. Dick was almost exactly one year older than him too. My father liked R/C planes but lost he vision before he could fly the one he built some 35 years ago. Maybe they're hanging out somewhere flying together.
