1/5 scale mustang transpertation cradle ideas?

Hey all,

I have recently built a 1/5 scale mustang and have a delema, how to transport it to and from the field in a short bed, open pick up truck. I have some nice ply wood and would like to build something that looks realy nice and is functional as a stand once I am at the field to get the stang flight ready. I have a few ideas, but I figure with all the people out there that are more talented then I am, some one must have a design of there own that they are willing to shair.

Lets see what we can come up with.

I have never seen one of these, so with a fifty cc warbird like mine inverted on this stand is the vert stab on the ground or will it clear so i can mount the wing at the field??

Thank you very much for your reply

At only $29.99 that IS one nice looking stand ! The padding where it touches the plane looks really good too :)

plenty of room there, thanks for the pic. I like that stand, i bet I could build one pretty easily. Actually think i would be better off purchasing one. for that price its not worth the hassle.

Are you building or repairing, the raven looks nice.

Thanks again
