An open apology to RC Ken
 

:cool: This is my apology for wasting Ken's time with having to moderate some of my posts in the HK threads . I have now come to realize that Ken is 100% right , the HK vs hometown hobbyshop thing has become nothing more than the typical "Ford VS Chevy" thing ya see on the car forums . Folks arguing simply for argument's sake . There is a bit more to MY interest in model airplanes than which hobbyshop has the loudest fans and I have grown tired of participating in threads where there is far too much trolling and taunting , to the point where folks are actually mentioning the mental state of the other posters . I will hereby refrain from posting in ANY HK threads as a simple search is now all anyone should ever need to do their homework on with whom to , and not to , spend their hobby dollars .

Again , truly sorry to Ken for making a pest of my self in the HK threads , and from here on out MY posts will add NO more gas to the HK fire ..............

Apology accepted. Hope to see your posts in other parts of RCU. As I said in my PM to you on the subject, I have come to follow your advice in other threads on RCU and hope to see more of it in other areas!!!

Good for you. There are too many people who just look for the chance to jump on someone no matter how insignificant the issue.

And they know who they are. My hat is off to you.

As usual you are right, those threads always turn out the same and it really isn't worth the effort anymore. I'm in the midst of having fun converting a $4.99 foam glider into an RC demon. It's ugly but my grandson is having more fun than I am and that's what I really like about this hobby, I have to post some pictures pretty soon but first I have to vacuum the shop floor,,,,what a mess.:D
