4 blade props
Recently bought a Hanger 9 60 size mustang. Would like to know what size 4 blade prop to put on the Saito 100 for this airplane? Also, where can I find Charts for using 3 and 4 blade props for different size engines?

Hello. I too bought the H9 P-51 and am using the Saito .100, and want a 4 blade and spinner. Here's what I have found: Saito prop recommendations (various sources): * 2 blade-13x8, 14x6, 14x8, 15x8, 16x6, 17x6, 18x5, 18x6. * 3 blade-14x7. * 4 blade-14x6, 13x7, 12x8, 11x9 Horizon Hobby - 4 BLADE PROPELLER,11 X 9 [APC4011090] by LANDING PRODUCTS $9.95 Spinners: * 3.5" red 2 blade, CBA5073. (H9 recommended) * TruTurn #3504B 3.5" P-51 4 blade. $62.95 from TT. http://www.tru-turn.com/store/html/images/TT-4004-B.jpg the P-51 4 blade spinner page Tower #LXUT38 $51.99 b/o. * TruTurn Spinner adapter kit(s) - #TT-0822-A is 8x1.25mm, 1.38 oz., for old 1.2~1.5 single "short shaft" $14.95; TT-0823-A is 8x1.25mm, .83 oz., for "new" 1.5~1.8 singles. Check these numbers before ordering!! P-51 section of TruTurn site A couple of other items of interest on this plane: * Realistic landing gear: * Robart "380" series (3/8" (9.5mm) diameter with 3/16" axle) Oleo struts - 1-877-584-3400 #653L & 653R ofsets for 3~3.25" tires $39.99 EACH!!!! Same height and width as stocker, 5" long. Tower #LXFU45. That would give a total of 26oz. * Would REALLY like to install flaps on this, anybody done that yet??? * Fuel pump and regulator?? * Air filter for the Saito?? Mine is still unbuilt, still planning and aquiring pieces. I tried to get a wing blueprint from H9, but no go. Take care, Dave |

Just had to say "RITE ON" Holeshot!!! Thats what this RCairport Forum is all about...helping fellow fliers like yourself. You were concise in what you were saying to Tom4man and had done the "home work" with all the numbers to go with it. Real nice "reply" and a real pleasure to hear from someone who knows what the score is and what their doing.
