Anyone fly airplanes/helicopters in San Diego around La Jolla?
 

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any flying fields near the UCSD campus. I know about palomar, chula vista and miramar, but those are like a 20 minute drive and i don't have a car at the moment. So basically, does anyone fly near the UCSD Campus?

There are no established sites that I am aware of. There may be informal locations where people fly, but no actual flying fields other than the ones you named. Be aware that they do fly gliders out on the cliffs so if you are not on 2.4 that may be an issue if you get too close together. You might check some of the local hobby shops to see what they have to say.
