Hobby People Website

Has anyone gone to the Hobby People website to order engine parts for their Magnum engine? Call it what it may be, computer illiterate or just aging, or both, but I can't seem to find the way to their engine parts lists. If any of you know the secret door that leads to the yellow brick road, kindly share it with me and others who may have also run into the same situation, thanks!

Ron

The web site has changed and is pretty terrible.

If you have the part number you can find using the "search" box

If you do not have your manual handy, Global has most parts lists online http://globalservices.globalhobby.com/part/partsndx.asp

Some of the manuals are online http://www.globalhobby.com/review/reviews.asp

I agree, I don't know wat happened to their site, but it aint good. I was never great, but now it's much worse

Right you want to find the "Order#", put that in the search box and the part will pop up

good luck

If you know what part you want put it in the search box at the top of the page. I just put in Magnum 52 carburator and that is what came up carb 32.99 then the individual parts that make up the carb.

Still like the old site better. Seemed a lot easier to navigate.

The site has been fubar since they changed it. I posted a question about it on their forum and Mike G. said the transition to the new site "did not go well" and they had lots of things to fix. Well it has been a couple of weeks and not much has been fixed but I assume they are working on it.

I have found on my own that if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the home page there is a button called "Advanced Search" and if you click it, you will be taken to another page where you can select the manufacturer and that makes it a little bit easier to locate what you are trying to find.

Thanks for all the input and links, they must be losing some business with that new website of theirs. I went over to the global site and was able to get all my info there. Thanks again guys.

Being an IT guy I understand why they did it.  Companies refresh websites to keep interests.  It looks like they didn't get their monies worth as the design is lacking.  Just be patient I'm sure they will get it fixed.  Websites are the life blood of companies these days, they cant afford to good em up.

Well, I have ordered off of the old site, when I went back to order a moki/mark engine part, I gave up and went somewhere else. Why don't they just use a format similar to Tower? you don't see them fooling with the site, it works great just as is.
