Default metric wing tube?

Anybody know where I might find an 18mm(OD) wing tube thats 27" long? Aluminum or carbon fiber will work..

Already tried Troybuilt, TNT, ACP composites and many others. TNT and Troybuilt have 18mm tubes but only 19" long.[&o]

soarrich, Thanks anyway for the suggestion. I did find a company that carries a close enough replacement however it's a little pricey for a 60/90 size ARF! www.carbonfibertubeshop.com They have a 60 inch .700"(OD) tube that is close enough. (18mm is .708"). About $80.00 shipped[X(] I'm still researching though.

Did you think of using two of the TBM tubes and making a internal coupler out of aluminum?

soarrich, The two tube idea did cross my mind but I didn't give it much thought. I think you may have provided the incentive to try it. The Troybuilt carbon tubes are 18mm with a .9mm wall thickness giving and inside diameter of about 16.2 mm or .64 inches. A 5/8 inch aluminum tube is .62 inches (OD) Pretty close. Maybe a 4" or so piece of the aluminum tube well slathered with JB Weld would work?? The price sure is reasonable @ 2x$14.95 plus a couple bucks for the aluminum! Do you think it will hold together? I know my carbon fiber pushrods have stood the test of time with the same method of attachment although the stress factor would be different. Worth a shot as I've run out of options. I just talked myself into it and am ordering the tubes now...
