Default carbon fiber pushrods

I plan to use carbon fiber pushrods on my edge. Having never used them before. Is there a preferred way of attaching them to a clevis? I plan to use a standard threaded 4-40 clevis on the servo end and dubros new clevis and horn on the surfaces.

Rough-up surface of rod if shiny to get good bond surface proceed as usual. if the rod is the real thin type it needs to slide in a tube Like teflon tube mounted solid to prevent buckleing. Sorry don't know what an edge is.
