    9.7mm OD Carbon Fiber Tube

I need a replacement carbon fiber stab tube for my airplane, and unfortunately the outer diameter is 9.7mm. Any ideas where I can find a 9.7mm outer diameter stab tube? I tried DragonPlate and Goodwinds and they don't have it. The closest I can find is 3/8" (9.5mm), which is a little small. Would a decent option be to build up the diameter of a 3/8" rod with thin CA? It's a friction fit so I really need a perfect fit.
    Thanks
    Steve

I would just wind some electrical tape at the tip of the rod and at the fuse end, you can fine tune the fit by cutting a small piece of the tape off.
