Epoxy glass cowling. What glue to use?

Well, believe it or not, I've never had or worked eoyh an Epoxy resin glass cowling. Always Polyester resin.

I have this cowling I'd like to consider for a project and have absolutely no idea what to yse to adhear things to it.

Like an inner ply ring, ply pieces for mounting, etc.

Do I use simple Epoxy two part?

    Suggestions?

RE: Epoxy glass cowling. What glue to use?

The best thing to use is epoxy laminating resin. Roughen the surface where the ply ring goes. Tack in a few places with CA and trial fit. Once happy with the fit, brush some epoxy resin at the joint. Follow this with a fillet of epoxy resin, milled fiber and cab o sil. For a little extra strength I usually add a strip of 4 oz cloth over the joint too.
Of course it's true, I read it on the Internet.
