glassing question
when fiber glassing a large wing ( 85" WS), do you go in sections or one wing half at a time. If so, do you just keep mixing new rosin as you go or start with a large batch, since it gets hard in about 15 - 20 min. ( Z-poxy). If you go smaller section at a time, lets say from center wing to out side the Gear-wells, do you let the section you just glassed cure, sand and then continue or keep adding rosin while the previous section is hardening? Since this stuff cures kind of quick and I'm not Speedy Gonzales,( it is my first glassing job), I would like to know the proper sequence or the best way to do this.

RE: glassing question
You do NOT need to use one large batch and you do NOT need to let it cure between sections. You want to do the next section while the adjoining section is still wet. This will promote a chemical bond between the sections. The thing that you don't want to do is use resin to wet out fabric that has started to kick.
There are some other great laminating epoxies that will give you an hour of working time. You can get Adtech 820 in quart sizes and probably same yourself some money....and have a better product.

RE: glassing question
I use "MGS" epoxy available from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty and other suppliers. It comes with two hardeners, fast (app 1 Hour) slow (app 5 hours) hardeners can be mixed for a custom cure time.

RE: glassing question
Step one, don't use zpoxy for a large wing that you want to look good.
Get some better quality epoxy like the ones mentioned or West Systems with the pumper so you get a perfect mix and enjoy the process.
You might get ok results with zpoxy but you will get great results with better stuff.
