Default What...................carbon fiber to fiber glass

makes the best bond between carbon fiber and fiber glass that was previously resined? Cryocynate (super glue) or epoxy. And how to best prepared the surface. I'm leaning towards cryocinate. What say you fellow airmen?

Thanks all

A properly prepared joint with a quality epoxy resin is the best. You need to sand both surfaces with 80 grit sandpaper and clean them with acetone. 5,10,15 minute epoxies don't do a very good job quite honestly. A quality bonding epoxy (3M or Hysol) or a reinforced and thickened laminating epoxy will perform better than CA.

If you don't want to prepare the joint and don't want to buy a good resin and the appropriate fillers (cab-o-sill, cotton flock) then use CA.
