Default Cutting .060" Carbon Fiber Sheet

I need to cut some strips to laminate an engine beam mount. I need to cut several 2 3/8" wide strips. I was thinking of using an Exacto knife & metal straight edge to score both side & braek over an edge.

Any suggestions?

I'll be lamiating the strips W/1/16" birch ply & doing the finish cuts W/a scroll saw.

If you are cutting unidirectional the scoring will work ok, for you, just clean up the edges with a sanding block. Now if you are cutting bidirectional, use a cutoff wheel on a die grinder or set up a fence on a table saw with a carbide blade and a close fit blade slot.
