Default Best Places to reinforce a Pod & Boom Fuselage like DG-1000

Since my technical skills are mostly in electronics it would be appreciated if some of you experienced builders would share the best places to reinforce a composite glider like a DG-1000 for example. This is one subject I'm sorely lacking knowledge and skills but aquitely aware of the importance of. Let's say I was very impressed seeing wing stress testing with destruction occurring within +-3% of specs. Now that's some impressive engineering not a hint of extra weight yet strong enough to meet virtually all working situations. I confess it's hard to resist the temptation to over-build which sorely tests one's nature to do so. I might have to put a bucket over my head and repeat 'thou shall not overbuild' while hitting the bucket with a hammer! Thanks for your interest Ed
