F-15 Fuse crack
got this used and it was pre-primed. Its peeling and that is concern too......SO, other than paint......
Looks like the was pushed in and now has a crack in the paint/glass that is somewhat flexible. Without ruining the panel lines and having to do too much work, what is the process for repairing this. I had this happen on a previous jet I owned, but it was in the nose of the fuse, and lets say I made the repair, but didn't do so well on paint.
Any guidance would be appreciated...

If you can get to the inside of the area, clean it with acetone, rough it up with 80 grit paper, clean again, then lay in 4-6 ounce cloth over the cracked area. Use a good laminating resin.
fill the crack on the outside with some spot putty after the patch has dried. feather the paint, then blend back in with an air brush.
I do warn you, since the paint did not stick well, I am going to bet that as you try to feather it, it will continue to peel. It might work better to use a razor blade to remove the paint in the panels that are affected. Make sure you cut the paint inside the panel lines first so that as you peel the paint off it will not lift the paint on the next panel. It looks to be poor prep work under the paint.

That's what bothers me about the primer...I plan on stripping it and starting over...a lot more work than I wanted to do, but may be worth it...
i am tempted to do a rattle can attempt....oh boy. I have a compressor, but man, a booth and all this stuf may be a deal killer. I have a buddy who is a car guy that has offered to do a solid color, but what color!!! Lmao maybe I will experiment with a small airbrush set up to detail...,
dunno
