Default Apprentice S 15e pontoon repair

Hey Fellas, and ladies,

I'm a newbie on this site but not a newbie to flying, started 15+ years ago on a Kadet 60. So hello to you. Question on glues, took my apprentice out to the pond today and on takeoff lost power, ended up tearing off pontoon (where the struts attach to it.). Should be any easy fix. Does anyone feel strongly about the best glue to mate plastic and foam?

thanks
Alex

Anything waterproof that will stick to plastic will be OK. Gap filling regular CA is probably the best.

I ended up using white gorilla glue, it works awesome! Then I immediately tore both off, and well, the glue was the stronger joint. Back up and flying
