Default Getting started with foam, need help.

Can anyone tell me where I can find start to finish instruction on foam wings, vacume bagging, epoxy/resins, templates, suppliers etc...?

Thanks in advance

Yes, just start experimenting, hopefully you'll make mistakes, and then learn from them. It just like the thumb or finger fliers, you have to figure out what works for you. You might even come up with a new technique and educate us all!

Experimentation is the key!

Some years ago the RC Modeller magazine published a series of "How to" books. I think they called them the Anthology series. One of the books covered foam wings. I have not had the magazine for a while so maybe now some of your other subjects have been covered. If you cannot find books a search on this forum will produce more than you need.

Yes theres lots of information on this forum. You will also find that everyone has there own technique, or variation of. I like building with foam, if you watch the amount of glue used, pick your wood carefully and design it properly foam construction can almost be as light as built up, with alot less work.
