Default How to paint a model in a mold?

I have met with an expression of having a model painted in a mold. How do you do that?

After the mold has been waxed, you paint your color scheme onto the waxed surface in reverse order (dark colors first). You then lay up the composite panels over the paint. Usually the paint must dry completely first, unless it is a catalyzed system. The resin (usually epoxy) bonds to the paint and the color scheme is then transferred directly to the finished part. When you open the molds, the model is already painted.

David, I'm intersted in this too.

Do you use PVA?

Checked out the thread. Great info, thanks. I've thought of that hard mask idea too.
