Default Epoxy vs Polyester - Compatibility Issues

I have been using graphite/carbon (am a little confused as to which one I have been using...have a whole bunch of it and have been using it) in my gel coat while making molds with epoxy...was wanting to try a mold with polyester resin with graphite/carbon in the gel coat to make the surface extra hard...was wondering whether there would be any compatability issues while adding graphite/carbon to the gel coat while making a molding with polyester?

Thanks.

Default RE: Epoxy vs Polyester - Compatibility Issues

is the graphite/carbon in the form of powder/chopped or are you referring to the actual cloth? If you want the surface to be extra hard, why don't you just try epoxy instead of polyester?
