If its 2d cutting, try your local signmaking shop. Most of them are set up for this pretty good. I had these aluminum honeycombing jigs made from autocad files a few years back & the price wasnt too made (considering the Armstrong Alternative). If its 3d profiling, most likely a different ($$) outfit altogether.

Scott,
Let me know what it is and I may be able to CNC it on my mill 2D or 3D. I have played around some cutting a foam plug to make an engine cowl, and I'm getting ready to make some floats out of foam and then glass them. You can e-mail me or post it here.

ptxman,

Your wing looks great. How do you get your bow through each of those holes? (assuming that its hot wired)

I made a pilot hole in the middle of each cell with a rod in a soldering iron. It is hot wirred but not with a bow. I dont have a pic handy but its just 2 wood handles which have the power wires running to a metal screw hook in the ends of the handle. The hot wire stays on one hook but the other is kind of a question mark shape (?) so the hotwire can slip on & off but still hold tension. When the handles are connected it starts to heat up (the circuit is "on"), or you can rig up a foot pedal switch. I clamp the jig & foam assembly perpendicular so it is easier to steer the hotwire around the cell. Its very easy once youve done a few, just very boring work.

Cool. Is that a white foam wing that gets sheeted, or a epp type wing?

PATTERNPILOT-
If you are looking to do a lot of CNC work you may want to set up your own machine. Check out the following that I came across. I can't vouch for anything, just simply remember seeing it once.

They may have something you like, or not. Worth a look anyway.
