15" Carbon fiber radial cowl who can make it?
I'm looking for 15-15 1/2" diameter and 14-14" length Radial Cowl for my scratch build 38% Yak 55SP and I need it made from carbon fiber cloth so no painting needed and it should have a look like Mezlick prop. Who can make it for me? Also who can make custom canopy?

To start from scratch this project will need a plug, then a mold, then make parts.
What sort of money are you contemplating spending?

The resonable amount of money for cowl. I neve seen one for more than $150. OK! this is custom plus carbon fiber. Give me a qote!!!

If you can get one for $150 I would suggest you buy it. The alternative is to find somebody who likes working for charity. A plug from which to make a decent mold has at least say six hours work plus material. Say $25/hour, you do the arithmetic.
I have noticed the response has not been overwhelming.

You're absolutely right about price!
I post my question with a hope that I'll get the email of one of the manufacturers who makes cowls and already has production molds, so they can make one for me just from carbon fiber. Of course if you custom make plug then mold exlusively for me it will cost more than $400, I guess. I need just one cowl for one airplane, so for me it is no sense pay for cowl the half price of the airplane. Anyway thanks for response. Good luck!
