Have a look here, under "Carbon Fiber Composites"
http://winshiprc.tripod.com/

Also here:

A Google search on "Carbon Fiber Landing Gear" yields a ton of hits. Try it..

Default Composite Landing Gear

See the April 2000 issue of RC Modeler magazine. We provide directions on how to build a composite landing gear. In this case, it was built from carbon fiber and Kevlar cloth.

Fiber orientation and epoxy choice are of utmost importance!
