Default Carbon Fiber Wing Joint

I need to reinforce the wing joints on an overpowered biplane. I was wondering if carbon fiber cloth would be a better choice than fiberglass. If so, what kind of carbon fiber, what weave, size, and kind of resin. Thanks for any help.

For general reinforcing I use a 5.9oz cloth with a plain weave. You could probably get away with a 2-3oz cloth for a wing joint. www.cstsales.com sells a 2.5oz bias cut CF cloth that would be perfect to reinforce a wing joint. For epoxy I like west system epoxy 205 resin with 206 hardner. Gives you plenty of time to wet out the CF cloth.
