What material is trampolene matt made from?

What material is trampolene matt made from?
Just curious.... I dis-assembled the kids trampolene last week and was wondering if the material that the matting is made from would have any uses in our rc world as far as being re-inforcement such as around wing joints and for mold making. It is a black tightly woven material that is pretty strong.
