Default Carbon Tow

I just got 2 orders of it on ebay. 1 i got this morning. it looks great. the 2nd one which was a roll, i dont understand. the strands are hard, as if it already had epoxy on it. but, i took a strand, and strecthed it over a soft corner table, and its now smooth. is there a reason for that? or, did i get the wrong stuff?

Default RE: Carbon Tow

The hard stuff is OK. I managed to get two rolls of it sometime ago. As you say just manipulate it a bit and the hardness/stiffness goes away. I have used it for molding propellers, reinforcing glass parts and filling corners amongst other things. Al have been sucesfull.
