Pannel Lines
Hello all,
I'm making a scale plug, and would like to incorporate the pannel lines through the plug and mold making. What I'm not sure about is which release methods would be best.
When looking at the positive grid of a ton of panel lines in your mold, how do you wax that easily in all the nooks and crannies? How do the molds that even have rivet detail in them keep their details?
Would I be better to look at the newer 1 step releases that are not wax/pva based?
Thanks for any ideas,
Lance

In my experience, a typical wax/PCA system works fine for this.
As you know, every scratch and blemish on a plug will show through onto your parts. The same is true for panel lines and rivet detail. They'll all be duplicated when you make your molds.
