Default foam cutting

Hi Everyone

I have a question about a foam wing I need to cut. I have constructed the foam cutting power supply and bow from nsrca website, have produced the templates from compufoil and cut them out on laminate material by a cnc machine. Do I cut the top or bottom suface first ?? Any other comments appreciated

Thanks

Troy

On a flat table put some weight on your foam and cut botton first than the top. You do this so the foam drops down and you cut the exact size. Cutting the top first makes your airfoil smaller by the thickness of the cutting wire.
