Combatpigg-- What dress liner material?
Combatpigg,
About a year ago, I popped into the Pacific Fabrics store on Evergreen Way in Everett, and your wife sold me about ten yards of some polyester dress liner material. I told her it was for a giant-scale sailplane (5.6m Minimoa), and when she found out I was into model airplanes, she excitedly told me that Combatpigg was her husband!
So, can you do me a favor and ask her if she remembers what specific product it was that she sold me that day? It sold for about $3/yd, and worked GREAT. It looks identical to Sig Koverall, but it has a tighter weave than Sig Koverall, and appears to be a bit lighter (maybe 1oz/sq yd or so).
Thanks for the help,
Dgliderguy

Found it! Pretty common stuff, apparently. It's the same cost as Sig Koverall, but you can buy it by the bolt if you need to (25 yds!! Gadfries!!)
Thanks, Don.

It's just called "polyester dressliner material" and I'm using it for a (very) large-scale vintage sailplane (Minimoa).
