Default Need help on this one

5 members of our club are building P-40's. I made molds for all the parts (see pics) except for the large aluminum towend ring that came with the kit (pic). I'm not sure how to lay it out to make the mold. Notice how the front of the ring is curved inward. I want to be able to trim at that point when finished parts are made. Anyone have suggestions of how to do this. Thanks

Part (split) it in the middle or even at a center cross section. Use key ways on the parting board to keep seam perfectly aligned. Assemble the mold when laying up part. trim at the location you want
